Hyster-Yale needed to expand their manufacturing facility in Berea, KY but had limited space to construct the expansion. They needed a company to design and construct the building expansion in record time to meet the demand of forklift production.
Bristol Group was hired to evaluate the site and deliver a solution. Through collaboration between Hyster-Yale and Bristol Group, it was determined that the approach forward should include the purchase of surrounding properties and rerouting site utilities.
The project was designed and permitted while properties were purchased and site demo work took place. Bristol teamed with trusted design-build MEP consultants to relocate a labyrinth of underground site utilities and led the design and manufacturing of load-bearing precast concrete walls.
