This 565,000-sf project had been placed on hold for three years due to construction costs coming in over budget. Bristol Group was approached and asked to value engineer the project and determines ways to save time and money to revitalize the project.
After analyzing the drawings and geotech report Bristol Group determined the finish floor elevation could be lowered to avoid costly imported material. After balancing the site Bristol moved to dealing with unsuitable soils and the large quantity of rock that existed on the site. Through collaboration with the previous site work contractor and geotechnical engineer, Bristol developed a solution that saved time and money.
Bristol Group was awarded the project based on the innovation displayed during the bidding process, a shorter schedule than their competition and a better price.
