This project represents the fifth design-build project completed for this Japanese-owned manufacturer of automotive stamping. The 80,000 square foot expansion was necessary to support TTAI’s growth in the automotive industry. The expansion included nine specialized press foundations, a 20-ton crane, and a 3,000-ton transfer press foundation measuring 33 feet deep.
The design-build project was completed without interruption to TTAI’s operation despite the fact that all raw materials entered the facility through the expansion area. Some of the press foundation components were built off site to help streamline the construction process.
Bristol Group and TTAI worked together seamlessly to ensure TTAI production and construction were completed on schedule and on budget.
